Centennial defensive back Jaden Mickey is already ranked in the 2022 Top247 at No. 220 nationally and his game looks to be trending up. The Notre Dame commit is a talented cover corner who had made some impressive strides in the last year. He has grown and looks nearly 6-0, 180 pounds, while also improving athletically. He improved his short area quickness and can really break on the football. It is rare to see a young corner who is comfortable playing in press or man coverage, does not need to grab or hold a lot, can be physical in the run game and shows the ball skills and ball awareness to make a play on the ball down the field, but that is where Mickey's game is right now. He is playing with a lot of confidence and could be in line for a rankings bump down the road.
