LasVegasIrish 0
Perfect. Great place to start talking about names. Many of these guys expected for Junior Day but it is premium content, therefore, I don't wanna post names yet.
tneun89 1,026
Really like where ND stands right now with the WRs. Could easily land the top 3 guys.
foreverirish34 11
Jalen McMillan is the best player out here in my area. He is a freaking beast. Hope we get a local boy out there. He is about 45 mins down the road.
corysold 0
I imagine Urban retiring helps with Henning?
LasVegasIrish 0
I imagine Urban retiring helps with Henning? Yes, ND was likely already in the driver's seat. Him leaving only enhances that.
SpeedsterX 653
Why just one 5 star offer? Too early to have given a lot of 5 stars yet? Would love to see all 5 star DL's offered.
LasVegasIrish 0
Why just one 5 star offer? Too early to have given a lot of 5 stars yet? Would love to see all 5 star DL's offered. They offered more than 1 5 star. Haven’t gained traction with some of the others. Fwiw, Henning was a five star when offered and is still very close to that range. Dealt with some injuries as a junior. Darrion Henry is right there as well (not sure if he’s ever actually been a 5 star though. If you look on the website you can see some of the other 5-stars they’ve offered. One guy to keep an eye on, Paris Johnson, currently committed to OSU. D Fence 166
Yes, ND was likely already in the driver's seat. Him leaving only enhances that. Vegas - I posted about him in the Wideouts thread, but I don't agree that ND was in the driver's seat, OSU was. I know the analysts felt good about ND and I read some of their opinions, but believe he was leaning 5o OSU. But I think the Meyer news could help as he and his family loves UM. I'll see if I can find out more.
golson5 176
Who's visiting today? Who's on offer watch? Could anyone pop?
Big23Head 2,431
Who's visiting today? Who's on offer watch? Could anyone pop? Just posted this in the other thread. Here’s some info: Notre Dame hosting elite talent, top targets this weekend Think all non offers could be offered. Not sure If any would immediately commit today. It could lead to one of them committing by March. Edited December 15, 2018 by Big23Head
LasVegasIrish 0
Who's visiting today? Who's on offer watch? Could anyone pop? Daniel Jackson is the guy to watch out for if ND gives him the green light to commit. 5 stars - Chris Tyree and Paris Johnson Jr both visiting. 4 stars - Darrion Henry WR John Humphreys OL Andrew Gentry WR Daniel Jackson LB Jaheim Thomas 3 stars - DE Jalen Logan-Redding OL Tosh Baker 2021 kids - OL Blake Fisher WR Lorenzo Styles Jr. QB J.J. LasVegasIrish 0
Fwiw, Gee Scott is announcing on Christmas Day. He has been trending OSU for a few months. At one point, ND seemed like the favorite. Don’t expect any surprises here.
LasVegasIrish 0
Enzo Jennings, probably Notre Dame's highest rated DB target along with Clark Phillips announced his top 11 yesterday. ND is expected to be a major player for him.
Jersey Irish 205
Tyree would be a great get at RB!
LasVegasIrish 0
Tyree would be a great get at RB! A realistic, excellent ND class would be Chris Tyree and Reggie Love, while also landing Henning as WR/RB.
D Fence 166
The other factor holding Henning back from a higher rating is that his team has 2 other stud RBs (high school studs - I'm not sure how they project in terms of star ratings or college potential) and 2 other very good receivers. They usually blow out everyone on their schedule, so he only goes in here and there, touches the ball and scores. He is a really dynamic player, but they are protecting his future. He usually gets more touches late in the playoffs against good teams and is equally as dynamic against them.
Handsome Jack 0
A realistic, excellent ND class would be Chris Tyree and Reggie Love, while also landing Henning as WR/RB. Anyone named Reggie, Pookie or Ray Ray sounds good to me!
