golson5 176
Disagree. All depends on how you recover. Kiel was the no 1 qb in the country and from Indiana, yes he signed here but never played here and i dont see anyone clammoring for him now. To me, Johnson is a better prospect than Kiel....and some scouts really like Kiel

UncleJoe 0
I don't think ND is really the "State U" in Indiana in the same sense that tOSU is Ohio's "State U", or UGA is the "State U" in Georgia, etc.

He put up great numbers last year and is widely regarded as a conference player of the year there for 2015. Hope Zaire works out, but I'd take Kiel over him at this point. He just took a bit longer to get going.

A very weird relationship.
LasVegasIrish 0
Thought you guys would find this interesting...Wiltfong changed his crystal ball for H. Johnson from ND to not sure yesterday, and changed it back to ND this morning. I trust his predictions more than anyone else, and he must have heard something that reassured him. LasVegasIrish 0
Kmet and Paris Ford visited this week. How is ur looking for us? I think Kmet may be our next commit. Anyone heat any good news? I think they both end up Irish. The staff sees Wright as a more traditional inline TE, and Kmet as an Eifert type so they want both. Fords brother is Darrin Walls and seems to love ND. aj7822 0
Hunter Johnson visits ND this weekend. It's a big visit weekend for ND and Johnson. Tenn has gained some strong momentum and per Wiltfong it's neck and neck to where a commitment to either program wouldn't be a surprise. Big23Head 2,431
- Cole Kmet had an amazing visit, even better than he expected. He will visit OSU in October then decide. - Scout: Top junior nearly commits Junior athlete Tyrell Ajian returned to South Bend for Notre Dame’s opener against Texas. He wasn’t disappointed with what he saw out of the Irish, on and off the field. Notre Dame’s 38-3 win over Texas on Saturday night spoke loudly and clearly to visiting prospects. It even tempted junior athlete Tyrell Ajian to end the recruiting process. “It’s a thought, but I’m not sure yet,” said Ajian, a 6-foot-1, 185-pounder from Mansfield, Ohio. “The atmosphere was electrifying, loud and exciting. I love it.” Ajian, who is being recruited by Notre Dame as an athlete/slot receiver, visited South Bend over the summer to showcase his skills at the the Irish Invasion. He returned to experience the game day environment and to get an up close look at the Irish offense. He wasn’t disappointed as the Notre Dame racked up 527 yards of offense and seven different wide receivers caught passes. “The best part of the trip was talking to coach (Brian) Kelly,” Ajian said. “He’s a great coach to speak to. I talked to coach Kelly and coach (Mike) Elston and they just talked to me and told me where I’d fit at.” After seeing the Irish in action, Ajian believes he’d be a perfect fit in South Bend. “I loved it,” he said. “I think it would fit me good.” Ajian also is considering Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and Nebraska. He will visit Michigan State next weekend for the Spartans game against Oregon. From that group only Notre Dame has offered. On Friday, Ajian led Mansfield High to a 21-6 win over River Valley. He caught touchdown passes of eight and 41 yards. He also returned an interception 42 yards for another score. In two games he has two interceptions and three touchdowns for the Rams, who improved to 1-1. Edited September 8, 2015 by Big23Head
