The guys on the Fighting Irish Football Fans facebook group are saying that according to the new Rivals article, we may get another incredible class this year!

It would be a top 10 class (they had 19 as their number) and all 4/5* on the list.

Nation's No. 3 OG Damien Mama (@dmama75) provides quick comment on new offer from #NotreDame (VIP) http://bit.ly/12uPhBQ #Irish

Irish Sports Daily @ISDUpdate

OL Damien Mama is 6-5+, 350 pounds and "finishes" according to his coach. He also has ability to get to 2nd level in SJB zone read offense.

Enoch Smith Jr. adjusted his visit to a few weeks after Junior Day

From Brandon Dawkins interview with Simmons, he could tell Dawkins was high on ND but Bama and USC have shown interest and could affect things.

Note, some have said that it may be Dawkins or bust for ND with a QB this year. That will of course depend on how the year unfolds but that is the early word.

EDIT: Since Gunner is leaving and Tommy graduates I would guarantee ND takes a QB this year. It is very possible Hendrix leaves this year for academic or PT reasons, so ND could possibly take 2.

Also Dillon Bates is looking to visit this spring.

MI QB Chance Stewart decommitted from Wisconsin and is looking to visit ND soon. 6'5", 210#, 247 Composite 4* 0.89

Evaluation of more QBs has begun

Myles Garrett was offered as well but he seems to be a southern guy

Some updates:

-Sony Michel is no longer expected to visit this spring

-The staff feels very good about Nathan Starks and could commit with a great visit in April (would take Hood and Starks call it a day)

-Andrew Trumbetti is on "commit watch" for his upcoming visit but UF has made up ground

-Jalen Hurd committed to Tennessee

-"Sources" say that ND leads for Tyler Luatua with Bama second. He has not visited either and ND needs to get him on campus to build more momentum

landing starks and hood would be a home run at RB for the second straight year.

wouldn't be suprised to see trumbetti go irish during/after his ND visit.

what is ND recruiting luatua for? seems like he's one of these anthony barr type athletes, so many positions he could play.
