Lots of questions...LOTS

1. Did he leave because he felt pressure from friends, administration, etc...to go to AZ.

2. Is this a way to get back at his dad(if he indeed doesn't want ND) where he can't get academically in to ND.

3. Is it just a simple matter of family, the death(s) and needed time away.

4. Could there be something happening behind the scenes with Chapparal that they are blackmailing Neal.

5. Can he still get the necessary requirements to get into ND.

I'm sure their are lots more but can't think at this time.

I normally don't jump to quick conclusions but this has me a little concerned...

no clue, unless he already had enough credits

I'll go with this. That he could have graduated early, but chose not to in order to run track or something, which he does.

However, he is getting a bunch of flak, got into some trouble, etc. and just decided it isn't worth it to finish out the year.

I'm guessing Davonte was catching flak for his college choice, and maybe for the way it came about too. There's so much pressure these days to go to local U which is something ND has to overcome and is somewhat strange in a state like Arizona which is 1. very Catholic (#10 in the US with 31%)* and 2. not home to a college with a lot of football tradition or success.

Is this all being overblown because of the signing day fiasco? Plus there is no other real recruiting news. He was the last major recruit to sign.

It's naive to think that these sites aren't looking for page views.

2012 recruiting is over... time to let it go...
