Very unfortunate for him and his family. Dumb kids. He's 18 so no Juvenile Diversion program for him.

Yep, bye-bye so long farewell, Landon. You ND career is over before it began. He will regret this stupid "night out" the rest of his life.

I think he's likely to go to jail. Probably stole a car, and then used that car to steal guns.

Sounds like some of the Miami Hurricane players from the '80's.

What is unfortunate about it? He's a ****ing moron and make a choice to go do this. His life is ruined and he can't blame anyone but himself.

Out of curiosity, does ND have to honor his NLI? I am assuming there is a clause that lets them out of it for criminal behavior, but I was just curious if anyone was familiar with the legal aspects IF someone in Bartleson's situation chose to fight it.

Do we use his scholarship for another player in 2020 or just keep it for 2021?

Kids make dumb mistakes, but this isnít getting caught stealing beer or smoking a joint. I hope he gets his s**t together, but playing Football at ND is a privilege, and he lost that privilege with his stupidity.

I made some dumb decisions at 18 but this is just on another level. I donít think he would have been turned out to be a contributor or anything either.

Should have signed with Miami...

In this day, is there a program that can turn a blind eye to someone stealing a car and then using it to steal more than $10K of assault style rifles? Not sure that even Miami can get away letting this kid in.

We were so close to fulfilling Allen Pinkett's wish of having a couple criminals on the team.
