Did I see correctly that Tengwall put ND and PSU as his top two recently?

I saw the other day that a crystal ball was put in for Shipley to Clemson.

Shipley to Clemson would absolutely suck. Weíve been in the top 2 I feel like for so long. Or close to it...

Steve Wiltfong is the one who CB'ed Shipley to Clemson on 3/12.

I think this shutdown is really hurting our chances. Meanwhile during the dead period OSU picks up 2 CB's in JK. Johnson and D. Smith. Interesting.

Yeah they are really all in on Shipley. I think it is 50/50 with Clemson. He must absolutely visit again, and says he will. But the whole virus thing may make him think being closer to home isn't so bad.

ND has "lost" some very good and great prospects lately. It will be interesting to see how recruiting unfolds after things normalize around the country.

You need to have faith in that BK's track record will hold true and he will be able to bring in a top RB as part of another Top 20 class.

Hell the season hasnít even started yet to lay a couple eggs against Clemson and Wisconsin and show how far the team is behind (hoping that doesnít happen).

As a program, ND is not behind Wisconsin.

Distance may play a role. UGA has been on him. Sounds like his mom really likes ND so hopefully there is still a chance. We will see, this virus issue may make a lot of kids consider staying closer to home, which will hurt ND badly.

I have no doubt this virus thing will have an affect on recruits and hurt ND. However, staying close to home also baffles me. Twenty-one years ago I couldnít wait to get out of Michiana and I have never looked back (well as retirement approaches I guess we have considered moving back). I get everyone is different, proximity to family is very important to some. I respect others choices but we all have to leave the nest at some point some just venture out further than others.

I am sure they would welcome you into their fandom.

Though, I do not see this class being a good one for ND. The virus will have an effect on recruiting, and I am pretty sure that it will be a negative effect for ND.

Too bad because surely this was going to be the year that BK finally signed another Top 5 class (since he finally said that he wanted to make the Top 5)

The difference may be that you were leaving a different landscape. ND is asking kids to leave warm weather, beaches, and action packed area for South Bend. Add the virus boosting the stay close to home vibe and that is trouble.
